A shortage of physicians specialized in musculoskeletal tumor treatment remains since the disease is rare.

The origin of sharing with the public the medical knowledge of musculoskeletal tumor:

After slicing the birthday cake for my four-year-old daughter on June 6th, 2012, I went upstairs, turned on my computer, and started building this website. I had a solid feeling to drive patients to understand the musculoskeletal tumor better and to prevent the delayed diagnoses or improper treatments resulted from limited knowledge. Hence, I provided the medical expertise of musculoskeletal tumor and my experiences in clinical practice for everyone’s reference.

Taiwan Osteosarcoma Caring Association

In my learning journey of being a medical professional, I found it easy to treat the disease but hard to heal the mind. In 2006, we established the Taiwan Osteosarcoma Caring Association with the energy import from society to help the patients cross over the exhausting treatment progress.

Since the website establishment in June 2012, we have received letters from hundreds of patients and physicians worldwide to consult the medical problems on musculoskeletal tumor. Although it takes tremendous time to reply to every question, I’m still willing to assist free of charge because of the happiness of helping many friends.

Other than the outpatient consultation in the US, the outpatient process in Taiwan has less time to answer any questions detailly. We thus build up the LINE Account consultation to reply to any medical administrative questions from patients!
