Chordoma is a relatively rare low-level malignant tumor. Because it is rare and its occurrence location is in the tail of the spine (Sacrum), its diagnosis is not easy. Many patients are considered spinal problems, such as degenerative arthritis, spinal disc herniation, etc., and are treated for a period without improvement before being diagnosed. At the therapeutical and Research Center of Musculoskeletal Tumor at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, about five to six patients a year accept treatments for chordoma, which is a disease that requires long-term fights!
